Clematis Jackmanii

Couldn't resist showing you this again this year. It's such an intense blue. It's appeared just as its mate, Clematis Cardinal Rouge, is dying back, otherwise I would have shown you both as a blue and purple contrast.

Gorgeous color! Your blog is a refreshing respite--I love gardening but currently have only some potted flowers and herbs.

Thanks gals for your comments. We've repainted the wall of the patio cream so it'll be interesting to see if it looks just as beautiful when it next flowers.
