Clematis Jackmanii

I wrote about the two companions for our Cardinal Rouge clematis that we bought in April: a Clematis Jackmanii and a Sealand Gem. They both took off within a fortnight and while there's no sign of the pinky-apricot of the Sealand Gem, just have a look at the Jackmanii.

What a fab blue.

Your clematis look beautiful. I moved mine in its pot yesterday as the roots were getting to hot in its old place. Hopefully that will mean that we get some flowers this year.

They look great on that pink wall.
How do they cope when the weather gets hot?
